Poetry from Angela Stoner, Bob Deveraux, Linda Cleary and Colin Johnson. Saturday 24 March The Morrab Library in Penzance presents an open-mic Cornish Poetry Marathon (minus the mic). Bring your own work or a favourite poem (maximum two) from someone else, as long as the poem, or the poet is in some way related to Cornwall. Venue: Truro; Time: 2.00-4.30; Cost: £65.00 (includes refreshments). Myths and legends are the oldest stories of all. They have all the elements of human comedy and tragedy, with the added dimension of fantasy. On this six-week course we'll be exploring ways of reworking the myths and legends of different countries in poetry, and creating some of our own.
